The New York City based Lions are a qualifier-level Men’s Sevens program, with club level Men’s and Women’s programs and a proud part of the Village Lions RFC. It is the Club’s testing grounds for advanced concepts and home to many of our high performance athletes. The Lions Sevens program has developed into one of the fastest developing teams in the Northeast.

Coach: Koma Gandy Fischbein

A Harvard grad, Koma has been head coach of the All Navy Men’s 7s squad, coach of the Northeast Academy, and has played and coached with USA Rugby at an elite level. She has been leading the Village Lions 7s program as head coach since 2018.
